Opierając się sprawdzonym, uszczelnionym korpusie i szpuli IPX6, przeprojektowano system hamulca Slammer, aby nie tylko był lepiej uszczelniony, ale także oferował szerszy zakres użytecznego hamulca, a wszystko to przy wsparciu łożysk dla dodatkowej płynności. W kołowrotku zastosowano również całkowicie mosiężną przekładnię CNC, system łożysk 8+1 ze stali nierdzewnej i hydrofobowe łożysko wałeczkowe.
